How To Prepare for a Power Outage in Connecticut, Massachusetts, or New Hampshire

The key to preparing for blackouts is having a household emergency power supply ready to go so that you can stay powered during outages. The best backup power supply is a portable power station, whether a small backup supply or a whole home generator solution.

Products like the EcoFlow Portable Power Stations are much safer than traditional gas generators that frequently cause carbon monoxide poisoning, which sadly kills 400 people every year in the USA.

Fortunately, there’s a power station to suit everyone’s needs. For household backup, the EcoFlow DELTA Series Portable Power Stations provide peace of mind and home energy security. They come in various sizes with expandable batteries to suit everyone’s energy needs, no matter how big or small they are.

For instance, the EcoFlow DELTA 3 Plus starts at 1024Wh capacity and is expandable up to 5kWh with extra batteries. It’ll run a couple of essential appliances and keep your devices charged.

However, if you need more power, the EcoFlow DELTA Pro 3 Solar Generator (PV400W) starts at 4000W, which will run most of your essential appliances and works with 120V and 240V appliances.

If you plug sensitive electronics directly into it, you can also use it as an Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) to protect sensitive electronics during blackouts and brownouts.

It’s also expandable with extra batteries up to 48kWH, enough for most homes to go off-grid. The best part is that you can recharge it with its 400W solar panel during extended electrical outages to stay powered longer.

Final Thoughts

The Eversource Outage Map is a valuable tool for tracking outages, viewing restoration details, and staying informed during power disruptions.

By signing up for alerts and investing in a reliable backup power supply like the EcoFlow DELTA Series Solar Generators, you can ensure your household remains powered and connected. Stay prepared, stay informed, and stay safe.
